Site 12 is 9.6 nm from the Bell Buoy at a bearing of 041°. At about 9 nm offshore, the site has a depth of approximately 75 ft. Although further offshore, Site 12 is a good alternate site to visit when Site 5 is crowded.

The 1989 center culverts are a good location for bottom fishing for mangrove snapper, sheepshead, and sea bass. It is also an excellent location for underwater macro-photography.

Clean material from the old Broadway Bridge was added in April 2001 to the north and northeast of the center culverts. The 2001 material is in scattered piles.

In August, 2010, 400 tons of clean culverts and poles were deposited on the southwest part of the site. The depth was 74 feet. The height of the deposit is approximately 18 ft.

On June 23, 2018, The Everglades was reefed about 10' from the northeast edge of the south-southeast culvert pile on site 12(V12-14SSE3). The depth is approximately 75' and the top of the ship is around 42'. The Everglades is a 90' tug that has a large open in the center of the ship allowing divers easy access to the engine room. On June 23, 2018, The Lady Philomena was reefed about 30 minutes and 200' east of the Everglades(V12-18EVG). The depth is approximately 75' and the top of the ship is around 40'. This 120' ship was a confiscated drug-running ship that was donated to the county. The county installed 4 reef pyramids in the open cargo bay. It is sure to be a top dive spot in our area.
